Ajay Devgan, known more for his intense acting abilities rather than his flamboyant looks is an actor who has carved a niche for himself in spite of the fact that the number of flops in his career outnumbers the hits. Son of ace fight-master Veeru Devgan, Ajay was born on 2nd April and was naturally attracted to action films. After graduating from Mithibhai College in Mumbai, he took to directing video films on his own story lines. Ajay began his career with the film Phool Aur Kaante (1991) opposite the then debutant Madhoo (Who later starred in Maniratnam's Roja, a super hit).
